Leak Alerts by Text
IMR Billing Services monitors water meters at participating apartment and condominium properties. Residents can choose to get a text message when our system detects a possible water leak in their unit.
What you'll receive
- Alerts about possible water leaks or unusual water use at your unit, and an update when water use at your unit returns to normal
- Messages confirming your sign-up and any change to your enrollment
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Example message:
IMR Billing Services: Possible water leak at [Property Name] Unit [Unit #]. Your meter has shown continuous flow since [Date/Time]. Please check toilets, faucets and water heater, or contact [Property Manager] at [PM Phone]. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
How to sign up
- Get the sign-up link or QR code for your property from your property manager (by email, flyer, or mail).
- Open the link, choose your building and unit, and enter your name and mobile number.
- Check the box to agree to receive leak alert text messages. The box is optional and is never checked for you.
- Enter the one-time code we text you to confirm your number.
Signing up is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of your lease, of any purchase, or of receiving utility billing service.
Frequency, cost, and how to stop
- Message frequency varies with activity at your unit.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (954) 368-3180 or info@imrbilling.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
No mobile information, including text message opt-in data and consent, is shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
